On the 30th of July the staff of SPEAR Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Clinic will be attempting the 3 Peaks Challenge in aid of Maggie's Centre Aberdeen. 

The 3 Peaks Challenge is a mountain endurance challenge involving climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours.  This involves 26 miles of ascent/decent walking and 475 miles of total travel.

Maggie's Centres provide support and help for cancer sufferers and their friends and familes.  Aberdeen is the only city in Scotland that does not currently have this fantastic facility.  Spearheaded by Ryder Cup winning Captain Colin Montgomerie the campaign aims to raise the 3 million pounds needed to open such a facility in Aberdeen.
