Walkley Midnight Walk · 12 June 2010

A registered charity providing group work for young people with specific needs e.g. managing anger, building confidence.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit STEP's sponsorship page for the Walkley Midnight Walk, organised by The Rotary Club of Swindon Thamesdown.

We did it!! On 12th June 2010, overnight, the STEP team walked 20 miles from Avebury to Bishopstone, with sponsorship received going to STEP - towards the 2010 '£25,000 for 25 years' fundraising target for, among other things, a new minibus to transport young people to and from activities.

8 young people also walked the first 10 miles, raising money for STEP and Chernobyl Children in Need (CCIN) - the charity supported by the Rotary Club of Swindon Thamesdown. Well done to all of you, a brilliant achievement!
