Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness across the UK. Our nurses work night and day in people’s homes and our hospices offer specialist care. We also support people emotionally, provide practical information, and match them with trained volunteers.

Story

We made it!
15 set out and 15 got round safely.
There were lots of moans and groans at the end but also a massive sense of achievement both personally for surviving and enjoying the run but also for the very generous sponsorship that was riding on our backs.

With the individual sponsors of each runner, this website, and two more from team members Phil and Barry we seem to have passed £10,000. (All monies are not quite in yet)

Cancer affects many families and as we've spoken to people asking for sponsorship it's obvious that both Cancer Care and the Marie Curie Charity in particular are very close to many peoples hearts.
Thank you to all our generous sponsors there's still time for others to make it even more worthwhile. Don't forget that as long as you tick the gift aid box, the charity can get even more money (28%) back from the government! (It's some of the tax we have already paid to them.) Many thanks for your support. Stephen Cronin on behalf of the whole team
