Child Bereavement UK help children and young people (up to age 25), parents, and families, to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. Child Bereavement UK also provide training to professionals, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.

Story

On Sunday 10th April 2011 I will be running the Brighton Marathon in aid of the Child Bereavement Charity. My oldest son Matthew will be taking part in the Grand Hotel MiniMile Race in support of the same charity.

Matthew and I have chosen the Child Bereavement Charity because it provides vital support to bereaved parents and children. Sadly we know from the death eight years ago of Matthew's twin brother Thomas that such support can be difficult to find, yet makes such a difference.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. We're training hard and don't want to let you down!
