Story

Hi Everybody and welcome

Paul, Sam, Tom, Matt and Mark(myself) are swimming a mile of the Thames to raise money for the Fircroft charitable Trust.

Fircroft, started 1967, supports people with mental health problems and those with learning disabilities.

Fircroft has 2 parts, the Fircroft Centre, where people can drop in, offering support and activities in a non-institusional environment and

Residential care - currently looking after 20 people, this is due to expand with a new development underway.

Fircroft is based in the Borough of Kingston-Upon-Thames, which is where the swim is taking place on a 1-mile stretch of the Thames, from the Towpath near Raven's Ait island to The Boater's Inn, Canbury Park.

Please donate on this website and if in the Kingston area come to Canbury park to show support at , or before 1pm, our expected finish time.
