Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

Critically acclaimed jogger, Sabina Peck stars in this hilarious yet poignant thriller, Wilmslow Half Marathon, 2014. A tense story in which Peck tries to maintain her dignity until the bitter end while overcoming her inherent weaknesses of cake, laziness and bad knees; you'll be on the edge of your seat waiting to see if she manages to meet her goal!

"I laughed, I cried, I donated. You should do the same.*****" - A. Mann, The Guardian.

"Truly one of the masterpieces of our time. Peck's encapsulation of the ubiquitous 'lazy girl that eats cake' is sublime; the only way this could be improved is if everyone that reads this comment donates money to Spinal Research. *****" - Barack Obama
