My story
Hello,
Thank you for visiting my sponsor page.
In June I walked on the Camino de Santiago. In October I had the opportunity to run the Run To The Beat half marathon in London. With the walk and the run I would like to raise money for SA-YES (South African Youth Education for Sustainability). This amazing charity provides guidance and support for marginalised young people making the transition from living in residential care to living responsibly and independently in South Africa. Im Juni bin ich den Jakobsweg gegangen und im Oktober hatte ich die Möglichkeit, den Run To The Beat Halbmarathon in London zu laufen. Mit der Wanderung und dem Lauf würde ich gerne Geld für SA-YES (South African Youth Education for Sustainability) sammeln. Diese fantastische Wohltätigkeitsorganisation bietet jungen Menschen in Südafrika Beratung und Unterstützung bei ihrem Übergang vom Leben in Heimen in ein selbständiges Leben an. SA-YES provides a one-to-one mentoring programme for young people who have been removed from their families by the courts and placed in children's homes in South Africa. We offer them the critical support they need as they transition out of care to live as self-sustaining, independent adults.
