The Prince's Trust Palace to Palace 2016 · 2 October 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am about to start training for what will be the
toughest cycle I have EVER attempted (45 miles in ONE day) from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle on October 2nd 2016...all in aid of The Prince's Trust. There are two route options, the Classic 45-mile route and the 90-mile Ultra route (I’m crazy, not stupid ;)) but if I can complete this, I can tick it off the bucket list...

The Prince’s Trust help disadvantaged young people in the UK to change their lives and get into work, education or training. This year, The Trust aims to support 58,000 vulnerable young people, helping to give them the skills and confidence to find a job.

Alongside my colleagues @ Capgemini, I am looking to raise as much money as possible to support this worthwhile cause, if I can achieve my goal of £250 (minimum)

This is a real commitment. (For everyone that knows me, know
that I’m not one to take anything lightly and NEVER do anything the easy way and won’t back down on a challenge!)

I know people are always asking a lot nowadays to give to
charities and good causes all over the world but this is the first time I have personally asked for support in a major feat like this...and I know from personal experience how much awesomeness this charity is in helping young people change their lives and prospective.
Even just a fiver will go a long way...

It’s an amazing charity; it holds a personal place in my heart. Without them 12 years ago, I certainly wouldn’t be where I am today. They gave me a second chance. In short, I owe these guys my life. Now I may not be walking for a week after this but do you know what...It will all be worth it when I cross that finish line...Knowing that I have helped in some way to change another young person's life...Not bad for a day's work...
