I am doing a Solo Skydive jump on Sunday 13th March 2011 (weather permitting) and I am going to be falling 3,000 feet (from plane to ground) at Headcorn Parachute Club in Maidstone, Kent.<br /><br />The charity I am raising money for this time is CANCERactive (http://www.canceractive.com/). From their website: &ldquo;Our aim is to empower people to increase their personal odds of beating cancer. We do this by providing ALL the information, not just on orthodox cancer treatments, but on complementary cancer therapies and alternative cancer treatments too.&rdquo; My aunty passed away two years ago from cancer, so I am doing this in her memory.<br /><br />My other reason for doing a solo skydive is having done my tandem skydive in 2008, I feel I&rsquo;m readier and bravier to attempt it solo!
