Neuroblastoma is a rare aggressive childhood cancer. About 100 children are diagnosed in the UK each year. The Society works exclusively for these children in raising funds for British research into the disease, and offering information and support to families affected by neuroblastoma.

My story

Thank you very much for all your support!

I would like to say BIG thank you to all who have been so generous, we ran the race in - Mica 26 mins and myself 33 mins :)

We wouldn't of been able to do this without some help from some amazing people so we would like to say a special thank you to:

* Our mum for going round her work and raising lots of money, also driving us to the race and supporting us!

* Nick and Ali for suporting us and getting so many people to sponsor us

* Jamie also for getting money from her work and her brilliant banner on the day of the race

* John/Kav and Tim for being our personal trainers and supporting us, even though Tim only lasted one training session!!

Last of all we would like to say thank you to our family, friends and our family's family :) We have done this for our little Adam - sorry medium sized Adam!

Thank you for taking the time to come to our page and help raise money to find a cure for neuroblastoma. Mica and I will be participating in the 5km Big Fun Run on the 27th September in Milton Keynes - www.thebigfunrun.com.

Neuroblastoma is a solid tumour that mainly affects young children, mostly under the age of 5 years. It is a very rare disease and only around 100 children are diagnosed with neuroblastoma each year in the UK.

Neuroblastoma is very difficult to diagnose as the symptoms tend to be varied, most children can not be diagnosed until the disease is widespread. Treatments for neuroblastoma are quite different from any other cancer treatments and involve intense courses of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

The Neuroblastoma Society's aims are to raise funds for research into neuroblastoma and to offer information and support for anyone affected by it. By sponsoring us it will help fight this awful disease and those who are suffering from it. This cause is very close to our hearts as our young cousin has recently been diagnosed with this awful disease.

We would like to thank you for taking the time to read this and we hope you can help us raise money for the Neuroblastoma Society.
