Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity believes no child should face hospital alone. Every day, 500 seriously ill children face a life-changing hospital visit. Children tell us it can be frightening. Parents say they're sick with worry. We want to change this. With your support, we can. Are you in?

Story

Safe House is an Edinburgh based 24 hour tabletop zombie wargames marathon, hosted by Simon Hunter from Project Zeke Miniatures and James Brown from Hive City Terrain, to raise money for The Sick Kids Friends Foundation.

The event will run from the 5th to the 6th of July 2014, from midday to midday.

Safe House participants will not only embark on a constantly changing campaign through an ever expanding story of zombie survival, they will be doing so in suitably post apocalyptic surroundings and with all the trappings that go with it: isolation, barricades, canned food, the rapidly deteriorating aroma...you get the idea.

The event will be held in an "abandoned" office block (don't worry, we have permission), appropriately furnished for the end of days.

Players will only be allowed minimal breaks (nature can't be ignored after all) and will be spending the rest of their time engaged in the campaign.

Safe House is the first event of its ilk in Edinburgh and with your support hopefully we can make it a resounding success. Everything going to plan, we hope to host Safe House events each year in support of The Sick Kids Hospital, a cause close to all of our hearts.
