Every year we do something in the salon or a run in memory of my dad for Macmillan Cancer Care as a thank you for everything they did for us throughout my dads illness.

This month we are wanting to raise awareness and funds for The Christy Charity. The Christie is a charity i wish we had being aware of as a family when my dad was here. 

The Christie Charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. Anything we can raise will make a huge difference to the care and treatment that The Christie is able to provide to their patients and the families of their pageants.

We are holding 2 coffee and cakes days in the salon, Saffron Hart Salon, on Friday 22nd and Sat 23nd February between 10 and 2, which you are all welcome to.

And on Sunday 24th February my sister, Amelia and I are taking on 46 floors with The Tower Run.

Any donations at all are greatly appreciated. And if you cant donate then all we ask is that you at least read up on The Christie and tell people the fantastic work that they do. We are now at a 1 in 2 chance of being effected by cancer ourselves. You never know when it might be you that needs The Christie.
