Story
On Sunday the 12th of November, I will be climbing Pen-Y-Fan mountain in Wales to raise money for the on-going cholera crisis in Yemen. Nearly 35 million people are currently lacking basic sanitation, clean water and an adequate food supply; and with over 14 million in desperate need of medical care, they will only worsen without our help today.
The conflict in Yemen has led to the collapse of the public health system. There are millions of people in the country at risk from hunger as a result of having being displaced from their homes as they flee to safety. There have been massive outbreaks of disease in particular cholera as people are forced to drink bacteria laden water and use unsafe sanitary practices leading to human waste contamination. Hundreds have been killed and wounded, many more are displaced and in urgent need of assistance.
Please donate today to help Human Appeal provide for the many thousands of people who are suffering as a result of the crisis in Yemen.
