Solidarity with Syria · 23 June 2013

The World Federation of KSIMC is eradicating poverty within the poorest and deprived communities across the globe, by providing access to education, healthcare, promoting economic development, securing basic rights to food, clean water and sanitation, and building spiritual and vibrant communities.

Story

According to UNICEF, as many as four million Syrian children are in need of urgent humanitarian assistance.  Many of these children belong to refugee families who are now living in Lebanon.

Help me raise as much money as I can to help displaced refugee families to provide food, clothing, shelter and other essentials, alleviating their hardships in the wake of the conflict.

I will be living on £1.25 a day from 1st - 5th July, as an act of solidarity with these families who have to live on this amount every day.

For those of you who know me, will know how hard this is for me. I will have to curb my food shopping at £6.25, and cut out my work treats (No Costa coffee and chocolates!!)

This Ramadhan, these Syrian refugee families need your help to lighten the day to day financial pressures they have – at least during this Blessed month.
