This page is very much still a work in progress - the lovely Jennie will no doubt need to edit and amend whatever rubbish I'm about to write now but just thought I'd get it up and running (hahaha) before we return to work and don't have time to think!

 

We're running a marathon along the beautiful French Riviera - combining two of my loves running and all things French! We'll be joined along the way by fellow Hallamshire Harriers, the lovely Marie-Claire, Jess, Zoe, Emma and honorary member Mark. The flights are booked, the training's ongoing and we've even got a buch of supporters coming out to cheer us on. 

 

The choice of charity was inspired by a visit to the children's hospital with my lovely little boy Finn, who, thank the lord, is the picture of health. However, others aren't so lucky and we cannot even begin to imagine how heart wrenching it must be for families with poorly children. Sheffield Children's Hospital do a cracking job at supporting these families and therefore we would like to support them in any way we can.

 

Any contributions to this worthy cause will be very gratefully received. Many thanks to those who have already donated - only 8 weeks to go!

Obviously this seemed like a good idea back in April when it was over half a year away, but now there's only a few weeks to go.  It certainly will be a challenge, but we're training hard and knowing that it's all in aid of a very good cause will make it easier.  Thank you for all the donations so far.
