Sally Burton is raising money for University of Liverpool
In memory of Renee Metroka
Story
On the 3rd July, I will walk over 27 miles with my fellow Unilever employees. The route is from Greenwich Boat Club to Richmond Rugby Club, and is in memory of our dear colleague Renee Metroka (pictured above).
Renee was an inspiration for so many across Unilever, with her never give up attitude and positive outlook on life. She originally battled with rare ocular cancer in 2014 which unfortunately spread to her liver and she sadly lost her fight through complications in January 2018. She was only 39 years of age.
We are raising funds for a charity close to Renee's heart, helping to fund much needed research into Ocular cancer and how to treat it. Rare cancers like these are often overlooked when trying to raise funds
