As many of you know I have always had an ambition to run the London Marathon one day. Well that ‘one day’ has now come (aahh!) and I have a place to run the Virgin London Marathon for St Clare Hospice on the 25 April 2010.
St Clare Hospice is a charity which provides specialist care for people living with life limiting illnesses, such as cancer or other diseases affecting the heart, lungs, kidney, liver or brain, in West Essex and the East Herts border. Care is provided entirely free of charge to patients and their families but they rely on 70% of their running costs to be provided through fund raising and donations.
I have experienced personally the amazing care and support hospices offer, not only to patients but also loved ones through very difficult times, so this is an important cause for me.
Please donate – every little helps – and it will encourage me to get me round the 26 miles!!
Thank you
Sal

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
