Story

Help us raise £5,000 for clean water in Sierra Leone. Via Christian Aid’s partnership with St Alfege Church in Greenwich, every £1 will earn £3 more from the European Union  - match funding that will turn our partnership fund into £20,000 for the clean water and sanitation project run by local partners Network Movement for Justice and Development and Rehabilitation and Development Agency in Sierra Leone.  These  tried and tested partners are already at work on the project.

The project will directly help 27,000 people (and indirectly, 287,000) in Sierra Leone’s Pujehan District, where two out of five people do not have access to safe drinking water and many children die each year from dirty water and hygiene-related illness.

Working through partnerships, churches can pledge match-funded amounts that multiply individual giving.  To find out more, go to www.christianaid.org.uk .  To find out more about St Alfege's please visit http://st-alfege.org .
