My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I pressed the send button…the only New Year’s resolution I have ever taken serious and hopefully be successful! 30 September, 26.2 miles… 5 hours (plus maybe) of sunshine, admiring Berlins amazing architecture including Sir Norman Fosters dome of the Reichstag building as I elegantly run a ridiculous number of miles through Berlin city, with a proud posture and effortless smile!
So if you could be so kind to consider the pain in my legs and put a few quid in to support The British Red Cross, it would make it all so much more worthwhile.
Max Newton, Sheffield based Red Cross fundraiser has committed to help me train. He is running to work with me offering to carry my bag to ease the struggle of it all. So if not for me, sponsor just on Max’s efforts and determination to do his job well!
Anyone is welcome to join me (running or being a spectator). Conditions are simple; you cheer me off the start line, go and enjoy Berlin without the pain and don’t forget to find the finish line in time to see me celebrate crossing the line.
