My story

                       WOMEN V CANCER

                          INDIA BIKE RIDE

                       19 – 28 October 2012

I have set myself one massive challenge for next year to raise money for three fantastic charities.

I will be joining a group of Women on a 400k cycle ride over the course of five days through Rajasthan in India.

Day 1-  Khanua  - Campsite Bashawar -  70km

Day 2 - Bashawar – Bhandarej  - 92km

Day 3 - Bhandarej - Tahela Camp site -  87km

Day 4 - Tahela Camp - Doela camp site - 67km

Day 5 - Doela Camp – Lal Mahal - Jaipur - 84 km

It will be hot and very humid, we will be cycling through rivers, the roads will mainly be secondary, full of pot holes, hilly, dusty and very dry

Having not been on a bike for 20 years and can only just about run up the stairs, this is something I am going to have to train hard for, but it’s something I am prepared to do.

Although I have registered and paid my deposit, in order for the challenge to go ahead, I need to raise at least £2800.00 in sponsorship money.

It is my aim to beat this target but I need the support of all my friends and family.

I am prepared to put in all the hard work and would therefore be so grateful if you would consider sponsoring me.
