On 23rd Aug I am setting off from Ilfracombe (North Devon) and cycling to Plymouth (South Devon) hopefully just over 2 days - 102 miles! a personal best for me if I reach the finish.

I am raising money for two very worthy charities both with a personal connection. Martlets Hospice, based in Hove, Brighton caring for adults with a life limiting diseases and who so kindly looked after my very dear friend, Lara, during her last weeks. Also for Mencap, supporting people with a learning disability, and their families and carers, they run an excellent summer play scheme which provides a safe and secure environment for my 9 year old autistic son to attend each year.
