Story

Assalaamu Alaykum,

My name is Salma and on 17th November I will be taking part in a trek to fundraise money to help the 20 million people of Somalia, South Sudan, Nigeria and Yemen that are suffering from one of the worst droughts in recent times. Food prices are rising, famine is occurring and violence is constantly at hand.

I will be raising money for As-Suffa trust who are helping the 20 million affected by ending their hunger through sending food parcels, quenching their thirst by building boreholes and setting up mobile clinics to treat those affected by this crisis. 1.4 million children are now severely malnourished and are at serious risk and death and disease.

Please give what you can even if it's one or two pounds. Through your donations, we can help make a difference to our brothers and sisters suffering around the world.

Jazakhallah and may Allah reward you all ❤

“Those who (in charity) spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public have their reward with their Rabb (only God and Sustainer). On them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve.” (Qur’an, 2:274)
