RoadPeace is the national charity for road crash victims. We provide practical and emotional support to victims through a helpline, befriender network, and information guides on the legal procedures that follow a crash. RoadPeace also campaigns for justice for victims and road danger reduction policies that champion the needs of vulnerable road users. RoadPeace won the Guardian Charity Award winners in 2008. Help us make the world a safer and fairer place.

Story

My good friend Neil Welsh and I are cycling unsupported from Dijon to Burnley. This is an 800 mile journey which hopes to raise funds for two charities which have significant meaning for us. Roadpeace have helped support my family after the tragic death of David Bailey, my brother in law, in a road traffic accident earlier this year. Neil and I are also supporting Mind, the mental health charity. Far too many people suffer in silence with mental health and we know first hand how difficult this can be for people without the proper support and information. This is going to be a tough week in the saddle so please help make it worthwhile by donating whatever you can.
