Two of my friends that i have met in my time here in Uganda, Alex and James, volunteer for a charity called HYT which helps in developing villages around Jinja using sustainable ISSB.

The reason for the run is to raise money for the next village that HYT takes on as a project. The HYT workers and friends that i have met from Uganda will be taking part so it should be a great event and also a good challenge at the same time.

Also i am spending 2 weeks in Kizigo village to help out with HYT project and to experience what James and Alex do every other week. I have already spent a week there and all the trainees and trainers are great guys and the money is being well spent and i have seen big improvements in the village already!
