The Turner Syndrome Support Society is a national charity caring for the needs of those with Turner syndrome throughout the UK, offering support and information to girls and adult women with TS, their families and friends. The Society also enjoys a good relationship with medical and other specialists to promote a good basis for education and uderstanding of the management of TS.

Story

Hi! Thanks for getting this far past the team page.

Turner Syndrome is one of the most undiagnosed genetic conditions around and affects an estimated 1 in 2000 women but a much smaller number than this are diagnosed. TSSS plays a vital role in raising awareness in the medical profession and supporting girls and women with the condition.

My sister has TS and although her condition is managed there are many girls whose conditions are not. This money will help raise awareness, encourage research and effectively help save lives as if it is not managed the girls that get chest pains can easily end up in life-threatening situations.
