We want to ensure that every patient at Addenbrooke's and the Rosie hospitals experiences the highest quality of care available. We raise funds for cutting edge technology, additional specialist staff and extra comforts for patients, over and above what is possible with NHS funding alone.

Story

Adam and I are raising money for Addenbrookes Charitable Trust (ACT), specifically the Neuro Critical Care Unit that my Dad, Peter Ludford was admitted to after his stroke. This is an amazing unit that is rated the best in the UK and it gave our family and friends the chance to say goodbye to a great man.

Adam and I have completed our challenge! We started on April 9th 2011 at Mount Snowdon, where we walked up and then proceeded by bicycle to Sca Fell Pike, and then on to Ben Nevis. So we walked the 3 highest mountains in Wales, England and Scotland and made the journey in between by bicycle. This was around a 500 mile cycle in 9 and a half days!

You can check out our photos from the trip at:

http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/3-Peaks-Cycle-Challenge/171930012853518?sk=info
