My story

 

Hello, my name is Sam, I am 10 years old and on July 21st - 23rd 2012 I will be cycling 102 miles from Illfracombe to Plymouth with 4 other people, to raise money for WaterAid.

 

WaterAid is an international non governmental organisation focused exclusively on improving poor people’s access to safe water, improved hygiene and sanitation. WaterAid works in Africa, Asia and the Pacific region and campaigns globally to realise a vision of a world where everyone has access to these basic human needs.

 

Please help me to work towards a world where everyone can have access to clean, safe water

 

Just £15 can give the life changing gift of clean water to one person. See what else your donation could provide:

 

·         £12 can buy two taps for a village waterpoint

·         £15 can give the gift of water to one whole person

·         £20 can buy 25 metres of pipe

·         £46 can buy a family toilet

·         £50 can buy a handpump

·         £60 can buy a rainwater collection jar

·         £100 can buy a soap making business for two people

I know we posted en route /you've seen pics..but we just want to say a big big THANK YOU to everyone that sponsored Sam on the coast to coast..he raised over the target and this will hopefully make a really big difference, giving villages access to clean water. and we had fun!xx

wow its so soon! Trying to fight off all the lergy's flying around so we are in tip top shape. Bike geting serviced and accomodation booked for sat. heading up to the starting line for Saturday morning . Sam just needs to raise £45 to reach target! please help by sharing this.;0)

started to go for longer bike rides in preperation for those Devon hills! Sams walking the 10 mile Exe Valley Challenge first...he'll have muscles coming out of his ears!
