My story
Dear All,
My little boy has just turned 2. Harry was diagnosed antenatally and born with congenital heart disease, He only has half a working heart amongst other complexities. His condition leaves him short of breath and has a lower amount of oxygen intake than a healthy heart child. Harry previously needed to be fed via a nasal tube into his tummy but is now eating and drinking normally.
He is a little fighter and is going to go through various operations in the future. He has been through so much already. Including, surgery on his heart at 20 days old, open heart surgery at 5 months old and then suffering brain damage as a result of the bypass, which he is recovering well from. He is, with the help of regular interaction and physio learning to crawl and we hope, eventually stand unaided and walk.
I have already organised a sucessful walk around Whisby as well as a raffle. Thank you to everyone who has donated already and taken part.
Thank you for taking the time to read Harry's story.
Anything you can donate to this fab charity and sponsorship iyou wish to raise towards this cause will be very gratefully received!!!
Thank you!!!
