<p>Thanks for taking the time to have a look at my fundraising page.</p> <p>On the 18th of August 2012, I will be traveling to Uganda for a month to help build a playground for one of Uganda's local communities in the town of Jinja. I will be working under the charity East African Playgrounds and will be traveling with a team of people from Leeds Metropolitan University.</p> <p>Our aim is to help improve the lives of the children living there by building a safe environment for them to play and socialize.</p> <p>Each member of the team must fundraise &pound;600, which will help pay for the materials for the playground itself. Over the course of this year up until I leave, I will be partaking in as many different fundraising activities as possible.
