Story

Thanks for taking the time to have a look at my fundraising page.

On the 18th of August 2012, I will be traveling to Uganda for a month to help build a playground for one of Uganda's local communities in the town of Jinja. I will be working under the charity East African Playgrounds and will be traveling with a team of people from Leeds Metropolitan University.

Our aim is to help improve the lives of the children living there by building a safe environment for them to play and socialize.

Each member of the team must fundraise £600, which will help pay for the materials for the playground itself. Over the course of this year up until I leave, I will be partaking in as many different fundraising activities as possible. These range from cake sales, to absailing down the University campus in the city centre!

Please take the time to donate to this page, contributions are very much appreciated.

Thank you very much for your time! Sam.
