London Marathon April 2013 · 3 December 2012

The Epilepsy Research Institute’s mission is to radically advance research for the #Onein100 people living with epilepsy. A life free from epilepsy is possible. But only through research We need energetic, adventurous and creative people like you to help us raise vital funds for epilepsy research!

Story

So, I probably should have attempted this years ago while my knees and ankles were in better nick but I have decided at the ripe old age of 33 to run the 2013 London Marathon.

Fresh(ish) from the Oxford half marathon last October I am running the event in support of Epilepsy Research UK, a charity very close to my heart.

I have a minimum fundraising amount I have to achieve so all donations are greatfully received and of course will prove a fantastic inspiration on the day.

My aim is to complete the marathon in 4.5 hours so my training starts now! Wish me luck and show your support by donating!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
