Dig Deep Kilimanjaro Climb 2012 · 24 August 2012

At Dig Deep, we believe everyone has a fundamental right to clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene through the achievement of UN Sustainable Development Goal 6. We work in Bomet County, Kenya, home to 1 million people and one of the most underserved and least resourced areas of the country.

Story

Hi guys,

At the end of August 2012, I will be climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro as part of a team of 20 students from Exeter University in aid of the Dig Deep for Africa charity. The charity aims to provide clean water and better living conditions for people living in some of the poorest areas. I will also be climbing in memory of Darryn Richards, a close friends father, who sadly passed away in March 2011 after a long battle against many illnesses. He was a loving father, husband, son and friend who is missed dearly every day.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and completely secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. Every little helps!

Thank you,

Sam
