My brother persuaded me that I should join him and 15 other cyclists on what he promised would be an easy ride from London to Paris. The route is around 185 miles which we hope to cover in less than 24 hours. This is a major challenge when my current commute is around 3 minutes and I had never ridden a road bike until a few months ago.
