As we all know and for those of you who don't, Iain, a good friend of ours has been taken ill and has been diagnosed with brain tumours. He has been having treatment for the past few months which, unfortunately has not been successful. We have now been told that there there is no further treatment available to him.

This collection is dedicated to Iain and his family and for others like them, to provide support, assistance and an awareness of brain tumours, through the charity Hammer Out, a charity of Iain's choice.

So, we have picked up our collecting buckets (virtual ones this time) and bought our copies of The Big Issue, as instructed by Iain many years ago, to keep the sellers off our backs for the duration of the collection. We've got ample supplies of Irn Bru to keep us going, but we failed to get the prime spot outside McDonalds, so have resorted to collecting online.

For years Iain has been collecting and working for charities, demonstrating the selfless, loving, helpful, kind hearted person that he is. So please dig deep and donate now, this time it's for the man himself, the one, the only, the Legend that is Iain Elliot.
