The Centre’s mission is to raise funds to undertake research to improve the survival and quality of life of men with prostate cancer. Research focuses on three areas: Understanding prostate cancer development and progression Managing prostate cancer – identifying those who will benefit Treatment– bringing results from laboratory to bedside

As many of you know, but for those of you that don't, I am running the London Marathon 2012 in aid of the Prostate Cancer Research Centre.

This cause is extremely close to my heart as my dad was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer at the end of last year. You all know that my 'old man' means the world to me and after seeing the treatment he has received I couldn't think of worthier cause to run for!

The target I have aimed for is a fraction of what I would like to raise as my intention is to help fund further reaserch and increase people's awareness.

So get your money out you tight old gits and make sure you're all there on the day as I'm going to need your support!!
