Story

I ran the London Marathon for the charity Interact worldwide on the 17th of April 2011. Five Months of training and a few-trips-to-Bristol-and-back's worth of miles later, I made it over the finish line!

It was a really great day, the crowd were amazing, and despite the sun and quite an annoying case of "devil cramp" around 14 miles, running was great fun!

Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me so far, and to everyone who supported me (and the other 35k runners :D) along the course.... including the various London borough fire brigades and their much welcomed spray jets of cooling water!

IW specialises in working with partners through a rights-based approach that allows poor and marginalised people to demand as a 'right' the basic conditions that allow them to live in dignity.

Our work focuses specifically on the most marginalised communities and individuals: those who most commonly experience stigma, discrimination, abuse and denial of rights.
