Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

So here we are, I've commited to running 26.2 miles on what will probably be a freezing, wet London morning in April on behalf of The Freewheelers Theatre Company.

Why?

I enjoy pain, chaffing and exhaustion? I really dont.

I enjoy training at 5.30 in the morning? I really REALLY dont.

Midlife Crisis? Could be worse ways of dealing with it....

I enjoy food and wine a little too much? Undeniably, but not really the reason.

For the last five years, I have been involved in taking the clients i work with to the Freewheelers and i constantly see and hear the enjoyment they get from the weekly workshops and the fantastically professional shows they stage.

The Freewheelers Theatre Company brings disabled and non disabled actors and supporters, production teams and the local community together. They use theatre and dance, wheelchair and voicebox technology, multimedia, animations ,puppets and shadows to create innovative work.

It really is a great charity and organisation and any help that you can give them would be greatly received.

Don't worry about the pain i will be going through, i've been told that 10-20 years of physio should be able to help an old man get back on his feet although i will happily buy anyone a beer after the event who comes up to support me on the day!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
