Virgin London Marathon 2011 · 17 April 2011 ·

Chilterns Dog Rescue Society was founded in 1963 & since then has rescued, rehabilitated & rehomed tens of thousands of dogs & puppies in need. We receive no government funding and rely on the generosity of the public to help us raise funds to allow us to continue our vital work.

Story

Hey everyone, thanks for coming to my page...whilst out in the Falklands in Sept 10 I received an e-mail from my old boss, FS Nick Walmsley, suggesting I take part in the 2011 Virgin London Marathon in aid of a charity local to our RAF base, the Chilterns Dog Rescue Society.

I'm not sure what a realistic target is yet so i'll take each day as it comes, but it is certainly a worthy cause, all the money they receive helps to train, re-home and even save the lives of many dogs all over the country...

Thanks for reading, and please give generously!
