My mummy says that on Saturday 7 May I will be doing a 3 mile walk in aid of the Friends of Carronhill School who are desperately trying to raise funds to replace the School's minibus. Could you spare 10p per mile (a 30p donation) in aid of this worthy cause.

(For those who don’t know … Carronhill School is a special needs school. There are only 35 children in the school aged 3-17, thus they don’t have hundreds of parents/carers fundraising on their behalf. However, many of the teachers/parents/carers/friends of the school work tirelessly to raise extra funds to enable them to pay for ‘extras’ such as maintaining the school bus so that they can take the children out. Every penny and every pound raised is appreciated and will be used to purchase a new minibus for the school which is estimated to be £35,000. Their current bus is coming to the end of its life and is proving costly to maintain so desperately needs replaced.)
