'Umar ibn ‘Abdul ‘Aziz (rahimahullah) said: “[People used to say] Become a scholar if you are able to. If you are not able, then be a student. If you cannot, then love them. If you are unable to do that also then [at least] do not hate them.”
I have had the honour of studying in Jamia al Karam for the past 5 years. This institution has developed me in both my thinking and skills. Despite it's great daily struggles, the teachers in Jamia al Karam have sacrificed everything in order for students to continue with their studies.
As a student of this institution and as someone who witnesses it's struggles, I urge you all to please donate towards this institution so it can remain standing on its feet, benefitting those in need and serving it's community.
Jamia al Karam needs financial support. This is an institution that has been and is continuing to produce British born scholars, who dedicate their life to support the Deen, in a language which we all understand. Students who will either become Imams, teachers, writers.. these are things of service to many people, and if their service is funded by a penny or a pound that you give then it will become a form of continuous reward for you.
We can atleast be amongst those who love the scholars or students of knowledge by donating towards this cause.
Jazāk'Allāhu khairan.
