On Christmas Eve 2011 a group of us will be travelling to India to volunteer at the Russ Foundation. The Russ Foundation is a non-profit charity which is primarily an orphanage but also does outreach work with victims of sexual abuse and AIDS in the city of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, South India.
Those of you who know me will know that going to India is also going to be a big challenge for me personally! But I'm going because I hope we can really make a difference as a group, and because it will be a fantastic experience.
