In 2002 my housemate's Dad was in a car accident that left him paralysed, since then he has been heavily involved in the charity Spinal Research (http://www.spinal-research.org/). So Will kindly thought that running a half marathon would be a great way to raise money for the charity gathering around 60 of us who were crazy enough to take part. It has turned in to the biggest fundraising event in the north for the charity in 2014, this gives you an idea how small the charity is, so every penny is needed.
