Big Fun Run Manchester 2011 · 14 August 2011 ·

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

As a volunteer for the National Autistic Society, I learned to see the world from a completely different point of view and found working with the Autistic individual I was paired up with greatly rewarding, due to a loss of funding the project I was working on was closed. The charity has a huge positive impact on the lives of those with Autism which is why it is vital that we support them in the current economic climate.

I am dedicating my summer holidays to raising £200 + for the National Autistic Society, hopefully the fun run will give me a good start up and maybe I will reach my target with this one event, but if not many crazy and fun events will be planned for the future because I am determined to do my bit for the charity.

I will be running in purple and pink, but I am still brainstorming ideas about my costume, as soon as I get it together I'll post a dress rehersal pic on here for you!

Please support my cause by making a donation,

:)
