Story

Hey there. =]

Every year BUPA organises Great Run events across the country. This year, I'm taking part.

I will be running in the Great South Run, a course through Southsea, Portsmouth that spans ten miles. There are usually around 23,000 runners that take part in this magnificent event, and it's all for charity. This year, BUPA are sponsoring the Alzeimers Society, however I will be running for the British Heart Foundation.

According to statistics, 2.5 million people within the United Kingdom have a heart condition - Members of my family, including myself, are no exception. Roughly 70,000 people die of a heart-related condition a year, within England. In fact, regardless of your gender, you are more likely to be killed by heart and circulatory disease than any other serious illness, including cancer.

The British Heart Foundation is constantly working to remove the risk of premature death due to heart disease, but they can't do it alone.

Please donate. There is no cure, without your help.
