Story
Thanks for visiting my page!
A little while ago I was asked to do the biggest and highest skydive event in Jersey to support a local charity named 'Hope for John'. Hope for John was set up by a local Jersey family who tragically lost their son to Lafora Body Disease - a disease which affects only 200 others worldwide.
Five years ago researchers discovered the cause -a gene mutation - and they are working on a cure. That costs money and as there's no government funding, John's mum Alice Morgan and helpers, are now devoted to raising as much cash as they can for the research through the Hope For John charity. Researchers are successfuly starting to progress with potential cures as we speak so support is needed more than ever.
In August last year, more than 40 Jersey locals tandem skydived over Jersey and managed to raise an incredible £30,000 for the charity - let's aim to raise as much again and wish us all luck!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now
Thanks! xx
