Hi! I'm Sam, I'm 45 and the last time I ran properly I was probably 15!! Yeah long time ago, I know, but; Thanks to some lovely and very persistant friends I bit the bullet & started running with a local group called 'Rachels Mums To Marathons' in February this year. Now the 'Mum's' are atempting to raise £60k for local childrens hospice 'Claire House'. I know some of the staff there and know what a fantastic job they do and what a fab facility 'Claire House' is. Long story short, I needed something to aim for as a running target and I wanted to help the girls in their quest. So in two weeks (11th May 2014) I'm running in the Port Sunlight 10K. Yep that's 6.2 miles in old money!! and I would be very, very grateful for any donations towards this fab charity.
