Story

Hi guys. On Sunday 12th November I will be climbing Pen y Fan in South Wales in order to raise money for the millions suffering in Yemen. In July of this year the UN have described Yemen as facing the "world's worst cholera outbreak". Two years of conflict have killed more than 10,000 people, wounded tens of thousands and displaced millions. On average everyday 5000 new cases are being reported. Experts have predicted that by the turn of the year, cholera will have affected at least 1 million people, including 600,000 children. This saddening news has spurred me on to challenge myself for those in need and reach the summit of Pen y Fan.

Human Appeal is on the ground in Yemen, providing real aid in real time. However, they can only help those in desperate need with our  support. My target is £100; this will provide a family in Yemen with an emergency package, containing essentials like food, clean water and medical supplies. Thank you for reading through this post. Together we can help end the suffering of the families affected with cholera. Peace and blessings!
