This year I will be attempting to do the Three Peaks Challenge, along with some close friends. The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the largest mountains in three countries. Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales. The catch is to do it within twenty four hours, including the time taken to travel between the peaks. We are attempting to do this for a personal challenge, and also to raise as much money as possible, with your help, for our selected charities. It is an extreme physical and mental challenge, one that I will be attempting whole heartedly.

To make the challenge even harder, I recently found out that I am starting to develop Adult Idiopathic Scoliosis, a condition that causes the spine to curve sidewards, and sometimes even twist. It causes me great pain almost all day every day. It also has caused my little finger, and the side of my left hand, to be constantly numb. I also have a few friends that developed Scoliosis earlier in life, and who still suffer from it. For these reasons, I have chosen the British Scoliosis Research Foundation as the charity I am raising for.
