Signing up for a once in a lifetime challenge to take part in the Round the Island Race sounded like a fantastic idea; I've now realised that I have until 27 June to get fit, find my sea legs, work out how not to throw up for 12 hours and live in close confinement with 9 of my workmates for 3 days. Then race 1,600 other boats! Imagine me on a rollercoaster for 72 hours and that's what my team mates will have to put up with, surely that has got to be worth a donation :-)
