<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: &quot;Calibri&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;">On the 11th of June we are starting a nine day, 1,000 mile cycle from John O'Groats to Lands End.&nbsp;This is going to be an epic challenge as it is the equivalent of cycling from London to Bristol every day for&nbsp;9 days, climbing over 40,000 feet in the process.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: &quot;Calibri&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin;">First it&rsquo;s important to meet the team &ndash; well at least the two of us in the picture...&nbsp; Chris is the (just slightly) older one with the distinguished head of grey (white?) hair who should &nbsp;have known better, whilst Sam is the younger man more suited to climbing mountains whose idea this was in the first place.&nbsp; &nbsp;Now as if this wasn&rsquo;t enough of a challenge, we have decided to forgo much of the training that is usually required for such events...&nbsp; In Sam&rsquo;s defence this has been </span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: &quot;Calibri&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;">due to a combination of a broken arm and various knee problems, but Chris&nbsp;has fewer legitimate excuses!&nbsp; </span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: &quot;Calibri&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;">As ever we aren&rsquo;t doing this for fun, but rather we are relying on you to help us to provide equipment and support for the British athletes taking part in Paralympic Games next year. This is an extremely worthy cause so please support us with a donation and make an old (! annoyance mark added by Chris) man and one who should be young enough to make it to the finish with an appropriately large donation...&nbsp; </span></p>
