CB Challenge 2018 · 7 September 2018 ·

Mental Health UK works in schools, homes and workplaces to build a thriving UK where good mental health is prioritised. We challenge the systems and situations that hold people back, and equip them with tools and advice to unlock their full potential.

Story

GTB, FI, GC and GC Europe have come together to take part in the 11th annual Commercial Banking Challenge to support Mental Health UK. Sam, Rob, Agie and Jordan will take part on 7th of September in a number of physical and mental based challenges, competing with over 200 teams.

The CB Challenge has raised nearly £2 million over the past ten years for a variety of causes; raising more than £200k in a single day in 2017!  The funds raised have contributed to the successful launch of the Mental Health Money Advice Service which commenced in November 2017. We’re committed to the cause to raise funds to further support Mental Health UK’s great work and appreciate all your support!

Mental Health UK is a network of four national charities working across
England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland to improve the lives of people
with mental illness, and to support carers. Together Rethink Mental Illness,
Support In Mind Scotland, Hafal, and MindWise have worked for over 40 years to
provide services, information, and advice to support anyone affected by mental
illness.

Together, we will establish the UK’s first combined Mental
Health and Money Advice Service. It offers practical, personal guidance and
information for any member of the public who is worried about their finances as
a result of mental illness.
